Our Pool - Hygiene
Our indoor pool is heated to ensure that it is the perfect temperature for your dog.
Our filter system allows us to keep the chemical levels to an absolute minimum whilst ensuring the pool remains at the highest standard of cleanliness. The water is maintained at a stable 0.5 - 1ppm - drinking water is 0.5ppm
We have warm showers for pre swim washes if required and a designated drying area for your dogs post swim
We have a range of life jackets available free of charge and pool toys (for pool use only)
There is fresh drinking water available for dogs
Please enter/exit the pool promptly within your allocated time slot
Each session is allocated a 5 minute window either side of their session to prepare

Please Note - Sessions can be booked for 20 or 40 minutes swimming time with an additional 5 minutes pre/post swim to prepare

Benefits of Swimming for Dogs
Swimming is an excellent form of exercise for your dog whilst ensuring stress on the joints is kept to a minimum. It is a great choice of exercise for dogs that are rehabilitating from injury or surgery
It is a low impact and non weight bearing exercise making it an excellent choice for older dogs or those that are on a reduced exercise regime
20 minutes of swimming is equivalent to 50 minutes of running
It is a great cardio exercise for your dog (which can help with weight loss) increasing circulation, strengthens lungs and the heart
Swimming can help relax dogs and help them de-stress, making it a perfect choice for anxious or nervous dogs
Safety Requirements - Please Read Before Booking
Please ensure your dog has been to the toilet prior to them entering the pool
No food to be consumed by your dog for a minimum of 2 hours before their session
DO NOT leave your dog alone in the pool at any time
Please ensure your dogs nails are clipped before they enter the pool to ensure the pool does not suffer any tears
No bitches in season please
If your dog has been unwell up to 48 hours before they are due to swim, please call 07763 542805 to discuss
Leads/muzzles are to be worn at all times outside/inside the pool area until your dog is ready to enter the pool
What You Need To Bring
A towel to dry your dog post swim
Your own selection of pool safe toys (if your dog has a preferred toy you may find this helpful to encourage new swimmers/nervous dogs into the pool)
Polite Notice
In the event your dog has an accident in the pool area, please notify a member of staff on 07763 542805 immediately so that the area can be cleaned and sanitised before the next clients visit
(There are cleaning products available to use in the interim)
